EPRI’s 2019 U.S. Symposium Series is providing attendees with a deeper dive into the specific, regional issues and opportunities associated with end use electrification, and its costs and benefits.
Co-hosted by UC Berkeley’s Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute, the California Independent System Operator, the California Energy Commission, and its Chair David Hochschild, “Pathways to Decarbonization in the Western U.S.”, July 11–12 at UC Berkeley, will bring together western state government and regulatory bodies with utilities, researchers, academia, manufacturers, vendors, and industry stakeholders to listen, learn, and network in two primary breakout tracks focused on buildings decarbonization and electric transportation.
The event also will offer an afternoon of pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, July 10, and a start-up technology innovation showcase the evening of Thursday, July 11.
